I'm particularly looking for survey and self reporting data from large samples (1000+) in the U.S. For example, data about people's degree of satisfaction with life, both now and say, in the 1970s. Thanks in advance!

TRY A GOOGLE SEARCH ON PHSYCOLOGICAL STUDIES GIVING THE INFORMATION YOU JUST STATED HERE THAT SHOULD BRING UP ENOUGH TO FILL A SMALL LIBARARY SO WEED IT DOWN A LITTLE ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR LIST YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WADE THROUGH MORE THAN 2 OR 300 REPORTS IF YOU DO IT CORRECTLY
